It’s easy for us to forget to factor in evil. We go about our lives day-by-day, and miss the fact that there is an enemy who is distracting you from the things of God. This letter helps us to see the evil around us and to focus on a picture of our God, especially seen in quotes from Psalms and the book of Daniel. This insignificant church, compared to Pergamum and Ephesus, is promised the greatest reward of all. A precious promise for all of us today.
