In Matthew 15:21-28, Jesus encounters a woman who is desperate, helpless, hopeless. Much like the challenging situations we face, we aren’t given the ‘why's’ for why she's facing what she’s facing. What we do know is that when she comes to God, God doesn’t respond in the way we would expect. What do we do when we aren’t hearing from God? What does thriving look like when it seems all we are hearing from God is silence?
